The Springbok windpomp was manufactured Johannes Lambinon and Martin
Hornemann at their Firm L.M. Engineering in 1942. After 1953 the
Springbok was manufactured in conjunction with L.M.and Gately
EngineeringnWorks of East London. George North and Son of Durban was the
exclusive distributor. After L.M. and Gately Engineering made several
changes to the design it was marketed as the "New Springbok".
